Loveland Music offers the finest in musical instruction. All of our instructors have obtained a minimum of a bachelors degree in music. Lessons are one-on-one, once a week and cost $20 per half hour.

Mary Zimmerman - Voice

mary zimmermanMary has trained at the University of Minnesota and the MacPhail Conservatory of Music (vocals and performing arts), with Buddy Kaye and Al Kashsa in Los Angeles (song writing) and with the top television and film teachers in the metropolitan Denver area (acting).

The Zimmerman Vocal Method is a unique approach to teaching voice by utilizing the entire body and mind. Each lesson is tailored to the student's age and includes exercise, vocal technique, lectures and songs. The student is coached in a variety of musical styles with an overall focus on the enjoyment of the process of learning to sing.

Alan Skowron - Guitar

alan skowronAlan Skowron began his musical training learning piano using the Suzuki method. He then later began studying the guitar intensely. He studied both classical and rock guitar during high school and then attended Berklee Music College in Boston to study jazz guitar after graduation. Alan pursued the classical guitar in college and received a Master's degree in Music with an emphasis in classical guitar performance, in 1999 from Colorado State University.

Alan has won several scholarships and awards for his musical performance ability. Since that time, he has been actively teaching and performing in the Northern Colorado area. He continues to further his classical guitar training under the instruction of Masakazu Ito, a reputable classical guitarist, instructor, performer and composer of the Denver area.

Don Hahn - Flute, Clarinet, Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, F. Horn, Baritone & Tuba

don hahnDon Hahn has a Bachelor of Music degree from North Texas State University and two years of graduate studies from the University of Northern Colorado. Don's performance experience includes: orchestras, concert bands, jazz bands and brass quintets.

Don is certified as a K-12 music teacher from the state of Colorado. Don is also a member of Music Educator's National Conference. Don has had 8 years of experience as a public school music instructor as well as several years teaching private lessons. Styles taught: Classical as well as Folk and Blues based forms.
