Greg Ackerman, Owner

Greg Ackerman graduated from New York University, where he minored in Music Technology. He has played the piano/synthesizer and was a singer/songwriter for some time, recording his own original works in his home studio. Greg also worked as a recording engineer.

In 2007 after an unfulfilling stint working in technology sales, Greg decided to purchase the store. Bringing his unique combination of musicianship, sales experience and business knowledge to Loveland Music, he intends to continually improve and expand the store in the future.

Dan Knauf, Store Manager

Dan has been playing bass guitar professionally and working in musical instrument retail for over 30 years. He has been manager of Loveland Music since 2002. With an extensive knowledge of musical instruments and an outgoing personality that can put even the most timid customer at ease, Dan is perfectly suited to managing the store.

Danny Giltinan, Guitar Technician

Danny G. is our in-house guitar technician and music technology expert. He has been pulling guitars apart and putting them back together for over ten years. Danny will set up your guitar to feel and play exactly the way it should. Whether your guitar is in for a simple restring, or a complete set-up, Danny treats every guitar as if it were one of his own. Aside from fixing guitars, Danny also works as a freelance audio engineer. Some of the venues, where his presence has been known, include Hodi's Halfnote, City Limits Lounge, Road 34, Herman's Hideaway, Rock Island, Climax Lounge and The Ogden. He has also traveled as guitar tech with Pharrell Williams' rock band N.E.R.D..

Graeme Small - Shop Boy

Graeme is a long-time patron of Loveland Music who is finally living out his fantasy of working at his favorite home-town store. His duties include but are not limited to: tuning & polishing guitars, general maintenance and everything that Dan Knauf doesn't want to do anymore. He also thoroughly enjoys cleaning the bathroom.
